At first glance, it’s clear that Shorokhoff has really let loose here. The dial is composed of rings of varying sizes—colorful circular segments that resemble a kaleidoscope. The materials used are diverse, ranging from mother-of-pearl to brass to finely textured layers. This creates a three-dimensional effect that is vibrant, playful, and utterly original.
At a time when most brands are trying to stick to safe designs that won’t offend anyone, Crazy Eyes comes across as a rebel that refuses to conform. And that is precisely their greatest strength.

From my perspective, this is a watch that isn’t something you can just wear “any old way.” It takes courage, self-confidence, and, above all, personality. If you prefer a conservative style, you probably won’t get along with it. But if you enjoy bold accessories, art, or simply want something unique on your wrist, then there aren’t many better options.
In this age of mass production, it’s nice to see a model that truly lives up to the term “limited edition.” Only 39 pieces of this watch were produced, which means the chances of running into someone with the same model are practically zero.
This once again confirms that this is not a mainstream item. It is a rare watch that will be appreciated by collectors and those who value exclusivity.

A Classic with a Completely Different Twist
Inside the watch, you’ll find the 2030.DD automatic chronograph movement with a power reserve of approximately 44 hours. It’s not just some run-of-the-mill ETA movement you see everywhere. Shorokhoff takes great care in the finishing and decoration of the movement, and thanks to the transparent case back, you can appreciate it even when the watch is set aside.
With a case diameter of 42 and a height of just over 12 mm, the Crazy Eyes are surprisingly comfortable to wear. Considering how complex their design is, the ergonomics are very good. Sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating is a given.
These are watches that attract attention, express creativity and a free spirit, go against the grain, and are radically different from most of the watch scene.
There is one limitation, though: it’s water-resistant to 5 ATM. This watch is definitely not meant for swimming or water sports—and honestly? That’s not what it’s designed for anyway.
Although they’d be perfect for a summer vacation. Their dials really remind me of the stone mosaics found on structures in many sunny destinations—whether they’re benches or building decorations.
Unique in Every Way
The strap is also unique. I’d really like to see the blue crocodile skin it’s made from. The manufacturer reserves the right to change the color of the straps, which are hand-sewn, and it’s possible that leather of a particular color may no longer be available.
“Crazy Chrona” isn’t a versatile everyday watch. You definitely wouldn’t wear it with a suit to a meeting with a client. And it’s not the kind of watch that aims to be “safe.” It’s a watch that attracts attention, expresses creativity and a free spirit, goes against the grain, and is radically different from most of what’s out there in the watch world.
I’m glad they exist. Without them, the world of watchmaking would be more boring, more uniform, and too formal.
From my own experience, I have to say that it’s precisely these strange, unconventional pieces that bring the most joy to a collection. Not because they’re practical, but because they evoke emotions. And for many years now, Shorokhoff has proven that it knows how to infuse its dials with emotion like few others can.
