August was completely dominated by watches with useful features. In this month’s Best-Selling Watches, we can see a showdown between models that are competing to offer users the most features. But there will also be no shortage of elegant options from the dress watch category.

The top three spots clearly belong to Casio. Topping the list this time are the vintage digital watches from the Casio Collection AE, which you can confidently wear to the office every day but that are also up to the challenge of outdoor adventures. Second place goes to the unique mini version of the Casio Ring Watch, which, despite its size, doesn’t sacrifice any of its features. Rounding out the top three is the pure outdoor model, the Casio Pro Trek PRW.

1. A vintage digital camera packed with features

These retro-style digital watches offer features you’ll find useful in your daily life and during leisure activities. The display is easy to read, even when showing information such as the date, day of the week, and stopwatch time. The watch also includes an alarm and a countdown timer. Outdoor enthusiasts will especially appreciate the thermometer, which measures temperatures from -10 to 60°C, the altimeter (up to 10,000 m), the compass, and the barometer. Among the watch’s greatest features are solar power, radio-controlled time, and a smart crown with a lock. The Casio Protrek PRW 6600YB-3’s combined dial is protected by mineral glass and, in addition to the current time, displays the date, day of the week, stopwatch, alarm, and other functions.

4. A Trusted Classic for the Modern Age

The watch features an all-steel design. The case, made of high-grade stainless steel, is complemented by a 22-mm-wide steel bracelet. Inside the case is the in-house Citizen E111 movement, which features a light-charged battery with a power reserve of up to 6 months and a low-battery indicator. A practical feature is the date window at the traditional 3 o’clock position. The clear blue dial, which exudes a touch of elegance, is protected by a sapphire crystal that provides maximum protection against scratches. The watch is water-resistant to 100 m and can therefore withstand even extended exposure to water.
