The company thus relies on a relatively low margin on its models, which—combined with Germans’ attachment to their domestic brands and products—is the right strategy, one destined for success. Generally speaking, of course, once you’re able to hold your own in the large and strong German market—or even conquer it—it becomes much easier to expand beyond your country’s borders.
